Create Your Project
Log in with your admin credentials. Create a project for your school and choose between Student or Staff mode.

Add Records
Add student and staff records with all required fields — name, class, roll number, DOB, mobile, and address.

Use the built-in camera to capture 4×4 square ID photos or import from gallery. Photos are auto-compressed.

Step-by-Step Guide

How to Manage Your School with IDPOINT

Follow this guide to get the most out of every feature in the app.

Step 1 — Login & Setup Your Project

Open the app and sign in with your admin credentials. On the Home screen, you'll see your active project. Tap Project Details to view your school's data summary. If you're setting up for the first time, create a new project and select the project type — Student for managing students or Staff for staff members.

Step 2 — Add Student / Staff Records

Navigate to Student List or Staff List from the Home screen. Tap the + button to add a new record. Fill in required fields: Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Class, Roll Number, Mobile, Address and School Name. All fields are validated — incomplete records are flagged automatically in the Missing Data overview.

Step 3 — Capture & Upload ID Photos

Tap the camera icon on any student card to open the photo capture flow. Choose Camera to take a new photo or Gallery to import an existing one. The app automatically crops the photo to a 4×4 square format and compresses it to under 100 KB — ensuring all ID cards look consistent. Photos update instantly without reloading the entire list.

Step 4 — Use Class Filter to Work in Batches

Use the Filter icon in the header to filter students by class. This is especially useful for schools with multiple classes — work through Class 1, then Class 2, and so on. The filter is available on both the Student List and the Missing Data detail screens. Apply All Classes to see the full school view again.

Step 5 — Track & Fix Missing Data

Go to Project Details to see the Missing Data Overview table. Every field — Name, Photo, DOB, Mobile, Address and more — is listed with a count of how many students are missing that field. Tap Fix next to any field to open a filtered list showing only students with that data missing. Update records one by one until the count reaches zero.

Step 6 — Preview & Print ID Cards

Navigate to Sample ID Cards from the Home screen to preview available ID card templates. Tap any card design to see a full-screen preview with the student's photo and information. Once all data is complete, use the card generation feature to create print-ready cards for your entire school or a specific class.

Step 7 — Delete Records Safely

To remove a student or staff member, tap the delete icon on their card in the list. A confirmation dialog asks you to confirm before any record is permanently deleted. Only admins can delete records — this prevents accidental data loss in multi-user environments.
